OUR PERFORMERS

ALEX
Marching to the beat of her own drum has always been the way Alex walks through life. She is a natural-born leader who fell in love with the stage at a very early age. She has worked as a director, teaching artist, and performer at theatres such as Village Theatre, Showtunes Theatre Company, and the 5th Avenue theatre. She is loving every moment in her current position as Director of Singing for Seniors and loves bringing joy and music to people's day.

TIM
Hi, I'm Tim! I'm a Seattle native who started singing in high school and received training at the University of Washington. I'm probably best known as Jack Skellington in the Can Can's production of This is Halloween, which I've starred in since 2010. I've also sung at The Village Theater, Lyric Opera Northwest, and Puget Sound Concert Opera. I'm a regular guest vocalist with Seattle Rock Orchestra, and I spend a lot of spring and summer nights singing with wedding/event bands like Blue Wave Band, The Nines, and SideOne. I also love singing rock and metal, and you might've seen me with my original prog rock band Discs of Fury, or my power metal project Drägorhast. I cowrote a rock musical in 2020 and 2021 called The Chronicles of Lazer based on our Discs of Fury songs, so be on the lookout for that soon! Finally, I'm the keyboardist/singer for a couple of Queen cover bands called Queen Mother and Fat Bottomed Band. Singing For Seniors is the foundation that keeps my voice in shape, and keeps me grounded in my calling to entertain. I'm absolutely overjoyed to share my love of singing with you. And I take requests. =)

MIRANDA
Miranda is a hopeless romantic, but don't let those starry eyes fool you! She grew up loving the music and movies of greats like Fred Astaire, Judy Garland, Gene Kelley, and Jeannette MacDonald, so she's delighted for the opportunity to wear a classic dress and perform for Senior citizens! Miranda holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Cornish College of the Arts and performs all over town at venues such as Village Theatre, Taproot Theatre, The Moore, and many others.

MARK
Mark Emerson (he/him) is currently playing Harry in MAMMA MIA! at Village Theatre through August 7. He was previously seen at Village in SHE LOVES ME and has performed across the country at many regional theaters and in the National Tour of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.

CHLOE
Chloe has loved the stage ever since she was a little girl, with her first groundbreaking performance as a lobster in Alice in Wonderful at 5 years old. Swing music always brings her back to borrowing black and white musicals from the library and watching them over and over, mesmerized by Fred Astaire and Frank Sinatra. Chloe's love of music and theatre has followed her throughout her career, as she earned a degree in Musical Theatre at the University of Idaho, studying at the Lionel Hampton School of Music. Also an educator, Chloe is in the process of a Master's Degree in Elementary Music Education!

LAUREN
Lauren is a passionate performer from Fargo, North Dakota. She has recently graduated from Cornish College of the Arts with a BFA in Musical Theatre, and is new to the theatre scene in Seattle. She is thrilled to be welcomed into The Memphis Belles; traveling and singing in tune to timeless classics!

SONJA
Sonja found a true love in performing from a very young age and is absolutely thrilled to share that love and joy with her community. This past spring, she performed onstage with the Edmonds Driftwood Players and with StoryBook Theater as Piglet in Winnie the Pooh. She is SO EXCITED to join the NM Entertainment and Singing For Seniors Team!

ERIN
Erin is a new resident of Washington State who originally comes from Jacksonville, FL. Even thought Erin has enjoyed her time in Florida, battling the scorching sun and relentless humidity, she is so excited to experience the new beauties and wonders of the Pacific Northwest. She recently graduated from the University of Central Florida with her B.F.A. in Musical Theatre while also specifically focusing on tap dance and costume construction.

SYDNEY
Sydney is delighted to join the Singing for Seniors and NM Entertainment team! A recent theatre performance graduate based in Seattle, she discovered her love for singing at a young age and is excited to expand into this new realm of performance, one based in community and joy.
